Tamar Hamilton was born in Jamaica and has been a resident of Broward County since 2000. Her journey to the legal profession is grounded in discipline, service, and a deep respect for the rule of law.
She earned her Juris Doctor with Honors from St. Thomas University School of Law and was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2014. She is also admitted to practice before the General Legal Council of Jamaica.
As the founder of her law practice, Tamar has focused on civil litigation, property disputes, contract matters, wills, trusts, and probate proceedings. Her work regularly involves contested hearings, bench trials, and complex case coordination.
Since 2018, she has served as an Adjunct Professor at St. Thomas University School of Law, teaching Legal Research and Writing, Mortgage Foreclosure, Law Office Management, and Real Estate Transactions. She mentors law students and provides internship opportunities to future attorneys.
Tamar remains actively involved in her community and is guided by the principles of integrity, service, and fairness.
